Valentine’s Day: More than Roses, Flowers and Velvet Cakes
Happy Valentine’s Day!😘🤗
How was the Valentine’s day? I’m sure some people woke up reminiscing on how they were beautifully showered with love.
As for me, I had a hectic/pleasant full day and got home around 10pm. I didn’t give or receive any physical gift but my heart was bubbling alive with love even in the midst of the rendezvous of the day cause I met new lovely and lively people. So, the cycle of love keeps getting bigger, yayyyyy💃💃💃
See ehnnn, February 14 paparazzi does not quantify how loved or valued you are. Love is an everyday thing and it encompasses every bit of one’s life. So, the true test of how loved and valued you are actually lies in the non-special days, your down times, those days that you actually need support/help but you don’t recognise it or even know how to ask for the needed help.
This week alone, 3 of my friends reached out to me and encouraged me not to hesitate if I need their help on somethings. I also got loads of beautiful comments about Dife Blog, the interesting and didactic stories. These overwhelmed my heart with love😍 and I was encouraged💪.
Some of the good opportunities that life will present to you will be maximised due the good relationships that you have.
Life is more than roses, velvet cakes and flowers. I am not disregarding the loveliness of these things as expressions of love. However, you can enjoy more love, goodness from people than these if you allow yourself to see beyond the superficial of gift exchange.
Let me even tell you, if you want the roses, velvet cakes, flowers then give yourself a nice treat. You don’t need to wait for someone to get those things for you, get it for yourself, if they will make you happy. Love begins with you, your perceptions and ability to indulge your self with self-care.
In the spirit of Valentine, this post is dedicated to everyone who has ever believed in DIFE prowess and supported the movement to purpose fulfillment.
To every DIFER, I love youuu😘😘😘
