With all the loving vulnerability in my heart, here’s my March 2025 check-in. I promised myself and you that I’d write a post each month, and here I am keeping that promise.
March was a gift of quiet reactivation, a month of clarity and strength to GO again. I’d been praying about something for months, honestly, years, and slowly, light began to break through. Funny enough, it started becoming clearer right when I stopped striving for answers. I reached that still place of “Lord, let it align with Your perfect will.”
While writing this post, a scripture whispers to me:
“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promise.”If you’re reading this, may I lovingly say: focus on God, rest in Him, and trust that He’s working things out even when it doesn’t feel like it.
And yes, March came with its share of rejection emails. You’d think I’d be used to them by now, but the truth is, it still stung. I didn’t cry, but my mood dipped. To all the pros out there, does it ever stop hurting? But in those moments, I found strength in past receipts of God’s faithfulness. If God came through before, He will again. I choose to trust Him, present and future.
I also learned a tender lesson: sometimes, people don’t need advice. They need presence. A warm hug. A listening ear. Empathy that speaks louder than words.
One of the first lessons I picked as a Fellow of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy, I’m learning to be a more authentic, firm woman in leadership. I’m learning to speak my convictions even when they stand alone. Because conviction is power, and we must wear it boldly.
I’m happy to share with you my Dife Community, the kick-off of a new expression of Dife called “LeadLines With Dife”. First Episode Ft. The Funmi Coker is live
🎵 On repeat this month: “One People” by Life Worship & Philippa Hanna.
📚 April’s read: From Third World to First by Lee Kuan Yew. Can’t wait to dive in.
And to you, yes, you, reading this, I pray you find hope that anchors, strength that steadies, and the courage to keep showing up in all your beautiful, powerful expressions.
With all my heart,
Je t’aime, mon ami🤗💛
